To help make your experience better at A-1 Flashlights™,  please take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with our company policies and the extensive shopping cart features available to you.

How To Order ...


We do not have any type of minimum purchase policy.
No order is too small for us to fill.  

Ordering merchandise from our on-line catalog is very simple.  Just browse the merchandise in our on-line store. When you find an item you wish to purchase, simply choose any applicable attributes for that item (size, color, etc.), enter the quantity you wish to order, and click on the "Add To Cart" button. When you are done shopping, click one of the convenient "Check Out" button next to the product or found at the top or bottom of each page. From there, you can adjust quantities, delete items from your shopping cart, continue shopping, or continue with the ordering process. 

If you wish to put some merchandise aside for a later purchase, you can use our "Saved Order" feature. Your "Saved" shopping cart orders will remain available for two weeks. When you are ready to order, just add them to your current shopping cart and continue through the check-out process!

Accepted Payment Methods...


On-line orders can be paid through the checkout process by: 

  • Credit Cards - American Express, MasterCard or Visa.
  • Purchase Orders - Our shopping cart supports payments made through  Pay-Pal. Orders placed using PayPal can't shipped until the payment is verified.
  • Phone/Fax: All Payment methods including Personal Checks.

    Certified Checks and Money Orders are accepted via this method. Choosing the Phone/Fax payment option in our order form will generate a printable order summary which you print on your side. Then you simple mail or faxed the completed order sheet to us (remember if you are you using any other method than a credit card to enclose the payment). This method is perfect for customers wishing to pay by money order or certified check, or those who just wish to avoid sending credit card information over the internet.
    Please Note: If you choose the Phone/Fax payment method, you must submit the order to us by fax, mail or phone before processing your order begins. Also, if you make payment via personal check - your order will not ship until the check has cleared our bank. This can take up to 2 weeks so please factor this in.

Shipping Methods and Charges...


A-1 Flashlights™ strives to get your product to you in the most economical manner practical. In most cases, we ship UPS Ground. In the event that you require delivery to a PO box or an APO address, we will use the postal service. For smaller items, we also often use the US Postal Service's Priority Mail service. Shipping charges are automatically computed by the shopping cart based on the weight of your purchase. You may elect to ship your products Overnight, via Second Day Air or Three Day. Each of these services carries an additional charge which is assessed and computed when making your purchase. Finally, UPS charges an additional fee for residential deliveries.

The price for shipping is calculated by using the most current available pricing for UPS at the time of your purchase.

As a rule, we ship in-stock items on the business day following your order, and if possible, we will ship the same day. If we have a question with your order, we will hold shipment until we can reach you.

  1. Shipping is currently done through UPS and the United States Postal Service. You can contact us to make other shipping arrangements, if you prefer.
  2. If we receive an order for items which are out of stock we will notify you immediately. You will be given the expected shipping day of the out-of-stock item(s) and offered the option to wait or cancel your order. 
  3. Merchandise which is shipped back to us due to an incorrect address (provided by the customer) will be billed for the shipping charges.
  4. A-1 Flashlights charges a $1.50 "handling fee" per order. This is used to offset the cost of packaging materials and allows us to continue to bring you the best price possible for the Streamlight Flashlights you are purchasing. This fee will apply even if you provide your own account number for shipping.

Returns & Guarantee


In the unlikely event that you receive defective merchandise
you should know that we inspect and test all of our flashlights for quality and damage prior to each shipment. Rechargeable lights should be charged at least 12 hours prior to the first use! If you receive a flashlight or accessory that is not functioning, you can return it to us or you can return it directly to StreamLight. Everything we sell carries a full manufacturer's warranty. Please report any damaged merchandise to the carrier and then
contact us at service@a1flashlights.com you can call us toll-free at (866) 254-4487.

Items shipped via U.S. Postal Service are not automatically insured - it is to your advantage to request that we insure your order prior to shipment (add your request in the Comment Section during the check-out process). We will notify you via email or phone of the additional insurance charge and request your approval (this is usually a very minimal additional charge to your order).

We will e-mail you a shipment confirmation which contains your tracking number.

What is a Wish List?

A "Wish List" (or Saved Order) is a special shopping cart established under your login account, which allows you to leave our website and then continue your shopping at a later time, without having to go back and find the items you already selected again.

The Wish List is a valuable feature, especially if you already placed numerous items in your shopping cart, and can't finish your order at that time for some reason. Just use the "Save" button in the checkout area to add your items to the saved cart!  Use your account login to come back and finish your order later. Wish Lists will remain available to you for a 2 week period.

Why Do I Need a Login Account?

Creating an online Login account enables us to retain your common information such as name, address, shipping addresses, etc... in our database. When you place future orders with us, you won't have to keep filling out the forms. You will only have to enter your e-mail address and the password you chose in the Customer Log-in section. All your information (except payment data) will pre-fill on the order form - saving you time!

Your online Login Account will also give you access to your Saved Cart or your previous order information.

Only your name, address, phone, E-mail address and your shipping information is maintained on our database. The database resides on a secure server and you must enter your user id and password to access this information. WE VALUE YOUR PRIVACY! WE WILL NOT SHARE OR SELL YOUR INFORMATION TO ANY THIRD PARTY, EXCEPT TO THE EXTEND NEEDED TO COMPLETE YOUR TRANSACTION. Please see our Privacy Policy for more information.

For your security, and unlike most other E-commerce sites, we do not store your payment information in our customer database. You will always need to enter payment information each time you order from A-1 Flashlights™. 

The first time you log on at A-1 Flashlights you can set yourself up as a regular customer and make the check-out process faster.

This process is done by clicking the "Login" button, all of your shipping information will be collected at this time. Or, you can wait until you purchase and item and do it during the check-out process for the first time.

Why the " Cookies"?


A "cookie" is a small file that is not even noticed by you. It is stored in your "Temporary Internet Files" directory when you access a web site that uses them. Cookies are used by almost all web sites you access while surfing the net. We implement "cookies" at A-1 Flashlights
so that as you select items to purchase, information about that item is stored for use on the order form or your saved cart. Additionally, when you login to your account, a "cookie" is created so that you do not have to reenter your name, address, etc... when you complete our SECURE on-line order form. Cookies also give you access your Saved Cart or a Previous Order. Cookies are essential for our shopping cart to function properly. The cookies we use do not give us any personal information about our customers, but they do tell us which pages they encounter errors or bugs on. This helps us to correct problems and provide the products in which you are interested.

Security Protection...


Any payment information you provide us with, is filtered through and encrypted using the latest 128 bit or greater secure encryption. Our
"Secure Certificate" (SSL) is issued by X-Ramp, a leading provider of web security certificates. A-1 Flashlights™ has purchased a private certificate, which is applied directly to our website.

At the time of your order submission, you will automatically be E-mailed a receipt for your transaction. This receipt will contain NO INFORMATION about your payment (credit card numbers).

A-1 Flashlights™ is also e-mailed a copy of your receipt notifying us you have placed an order. We must then log on to a database located on our secure server. This database is accessed through 2 "
secure checkpoints" using distinct log-in ID's and "strong" passwords. Any attempt to access this information without providing those items in their correct order, will lock out the person trying to access this information.

Privacy Policy...


It is our strict policy
that under no circumstances will we sell or share any information you provide us with to any outside or third parties, except to the extent we need to process your order. Any information you provide us with via E-mail, through our on-line store (via the order submission), fax, phone, mail, or any other form of transmission is held in strict confidence. This information is limited to our company use only for processing your order and relaying your shipment tracking information to you.

We respect and will continue to respect the privacy of our customers. When you become an A-1 Flashlights™ customer, you provide your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and more. This information is collected on the order form for several reasons, including: (i) personal identification; (ii) to allow us to contact you for customer service, if necessary; (iii) to receive payment for and ship your merchandise, and (iv) to send you an email message confirming your order shipment. As a customer you may elect to occasionally receive an e-mail describing any specials or new products we may have or other noteworthy news items. However, you may always opt-out of receiving these e-mail messages.

You will receive three emails from A-1 Flashlights: your automatic order receipt, an order confirmation and a shipment notification with the tracking number - that's it!

We will not contact you in the future via phone, fax, postal mail, or email for any reason unless you have signed up for our newsletter - your privacy is completely safe with us.

Retrieving Previous Orders...

If you want to reorder something you have previously bought from us, you can go to the "
Order History" This link will only be useable by those of you who are currently logged in, have ordered from us in the past, and have not deleted the "cookie" left in your browser by our order process.

The link will bring up a record of all orders previously purchased by you and a link to the shipping/tracking information.

You can then choose to add any item in those orders to your current order. This helps to get you great products with least number of keystrokes.
